Technical features
WATERFIP C 820 is a neutral product, developed for the coagulation of paints in water film spray booths. It is suitable for the treatment of water-based and solvent-based paints, even those that are difficult to denature (polyesters, alkyls, acrylics, melamines, high-dry, U.V. hardeners)
WATERFIP C 820 offers countless advantages: it has no hazard labeling, it keeps the recirculating water clear and odorless and forms non-sticky or adherent sludge that can be easily and quickly removed from the systems.
Usage and Applications
WATERFIP C 820 is used as it is, at an initial concentration of 0.8 - 2.5 kg of product per cubic meter of water to be treated.
Subsequent additions are made according to the paint overspray, normally in the ratio of 4% - 7% of product on the quantity of sprayed paint, using automatic dosing systems.
The correct dosage of WATERFIP C 820 is determined during the system start-up phase.
In the case of manual dosage, to ensure a good consistency in the denaturation of the paints, the product additions must be carried out at short and regular intervals.
The dosage should in any case be carried out in an area of high turbulence (eg near the recirculation pump) because thanks to this arrangement there will be good mixing and a marked improvement in coagulation and flotation.
