Technical features
FIPRO SG 578 is a solvent with very high degreasing power and high evaporation speed, it leaves the products perfectly degreased and free of oily residues on the surface. It can be used for cleaning metal surfaces, for graphics and for the production of paints, but also in the textile, metalworking, motor industry in general, in the transport sector. For use in contact with resins, rubbers and paints, it is recommended to perform preliminary tests to verify the compatibility of the product with the material to be treated, by immersing a sample of the material itself in FIPRO SG 578 for a few hours.
In the mechanical sector it is used for degreasing metal surfaces, interoperable or before painting or other treatments. It has been designed for all cleaning operations, by rag or immersion, where the use of pure chlorinated solvents is not recommended. FIPRO SG 578 removes contamination consisting of oils, dusts, greases, etc.
Usage and Applications
Immersion use:
Simply immerse the pieces to be cleaned in the product, preferably with slight agitation, especially in the presence of solid particles and / or adhering chips.
The product should be used at room temperature. The drying speed of the pieces depends on the operating temperature: working in cold environments, it is convenient to let the pieces drip accurately after extraction, and leave them exposed in a ventilated environment for at least ten minutes, to allow complete drying. The product can, very conveniently, be used in the presence of ultrasounds as degreasing accelerators. This is especially useful if the surfaces are soiled with solid adhering residues.
Use by rag / brush:
The product is particularly suitable for application by cloth or brush. In this case, the mechanical rubbing action, combined with the emollient and solvent power of the product and its ability to penetrate (even where tolerances are extremely small) allows perfect and quick cleaning of the pieces subjected to treatment.

Tanks and Storage
All the parts in contact with FIPRO SG 596 can be built with chromium nickel steel, AISI 321 or chromium nickel molybdenum, AISI 316Ti. For the transport, storage, handling and discharge of wastewater, follow the indications and laws in force. For further information on the product consult the Safety Data Sheet. Store the product in its original sealed packaging in a cool place away from frost and direct sunlight.
