WATERFIP 877 is a paste product developed for the coagulation of paints in water-based spray booths. It is suitable for the treatment of water- and solvent-based paints, even difficult to denature (polyesters, alkyds, acrylics, melammines, high dryness, U.V. hardeners)
. WATERFIP 877 offers countless advantages: it has no danger labelling, keeps the recirculating water clear and odour-free, and forms a non-sticky, non-sticky sludge that can be easily and quickly removed from the system.
Usage and Applications
WATERFIP 877 is used as it is, at an initial concentration of 0.5 - 2.5 kg of product per cubic metre of water treated.
Subsequent additions are made according to the paint overspray, normally at a rate of 3% - 50% of product on the sprayed quantity, using automatic dosing systems.
The correct dosing of WATERFIP 877 is determined during the start-up of the system.
In the case of manual dosing, additions of product should be made at short, regular intervals to ensure a good consistency of paint denaturation.
Dosing should in any case be carried out in an area of high turbulence (e.g. near the recirculation pump) as this will ensure good mixing and a marked improvement in coagulation and flotation.
