Technical specifications
ULTRAFIP 634 is a liquid product, suitable for all metals, specifically for the removal of polishing pastes, whole oils and emulsifiables.
It is used with excellent results in electroplating for costume jewellery parts and in the eyewear and cutlery industry. Suitable for washing zamak and aluminium parts.
Thanks to its special formulation, free of boron, EDTA, chlorinated or petroleum solvents, it does not affect brass, copper, zamak, aluminium, even in cases of prolonged downtime. The use of ultrasound enhances its cleaning power and above all increases the product's disintegrating action against pastes.
Usage and Applications
Ultrafip 634 is used in immersion baths with ultrasound.
Good degreasing results can already be achieved at temperatures of 50-55 °C; for heavily soiled situations (e.g. polishing pastes containing adhesives, which are very difficult to remove) it may be necessary to work at temperatures of up to 65 °C.
Pay attention to the operating temperature as workpieces may become self-drying.
ULTRAFIP 634 is used in an aqueous solution, by immersion, under the following operating conditions:
Bath temperature: 50 - 65 °C
Treatment time: 3 - 30 minutes
Liquor formation 20 - 70 g/l
Thorough rinsing is recommended after washing the articles.

Bathroom control
With a graduated pipette, take 10 ml of the cooled bath at room temperature and place it in a 250 ml beaker.
. Add about 50 ml of demineralised water and 3-4 drops of phenolphthalein indicator.
The solution will turn pink.
Titrate with 0.1 N hydrochloric or sulphuric acid slowly until it turns from pink to colourless and read off the ml of 0.1N acid consumed, which represents the bath score.

Power supply
For each point in ml missing add 5.3 kg of product per 1000 kg of liquor.
The Fiprokim Technical Service will provide, during plant start-up, the optimal conditions of use, depending on the quality and quantity of the foreign matter to be removed from the surface of the material and the type of plant itself.
