FIPROSTRIP 284 is a newly developed paint stripper free of chlorinated solvents, increasing operator safety and environmental impact.
Compared to paint strippers based on chlorinated solvents, it has a much lower evaporation rate (about 3-5 times less) and is not suspected of being carcinogenic. It does not contain phenols.
The product can be used alone or in combination with the alkaline additive FIPROPLUS 949. The combination of the paint stripper and the additive makes the bath very high-performance, especially on powder coatings.

Usage and Applications
Use the product as it is, by immersion, preferably with bath movement, room temperature up to 50°C, fully immersing the parts until the varnish is removed. Then rinse with a generous stream of water.
It is recommended to periodically remove paint deposits that accumulate on the bottom.
Containment tanks should be made of steel, preferably stainless steel.
If necessary, provide a neutralisation/degreasing tank, where any paint stripper residue not removed by the first rinse is removed from the parts.

Power supply
Additions of FIPROSTRIP 284 and the alkalinity corrector FIPROPLUS 949 must always be made to maintain the volume of the paint stripping bath. By following these instructions it is possible to maintain the correct concentration of the solvent and alkaline component consumed during the paint stripping process.

Paint stripper bath solutions and rinse water should be sent to a suitable waste water treatment plant or to a company specialising in recovery and/or disposal.
IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN THE PRODUCT'S CHARACTERISTICS, THE PRODUCT MUST BE STORED AT TEMPERATURES BETWEEN 7°C AND 30°C.
