Power supply
The liquor must be checked periodically and maintained at the experimentally determined concentration at start-up. If necessary, the alkalinity values can be adjusted with specific additives from Fiproplus and Alcafip. A start-up bath has a score of approx. 7 points. The score is determined by the free alkalinity: take 10 ml of homogeneous liquor, add 100 ml demi-water, add 5-6 drops of phenolphthalein (turns violet pink) and titrate with 1N acid until the violet colouring disappears. The consumption of 1N acid represents the bath score.
Storage
Avoid shocks, improper handling which may result in spillage.
Protect from frost, store away from heat sources, keep containers tightly closed.
More detailed information on handling the product and disposal of solutions can be found in the safety data sheet.
