FIPROSTEEL 764 is a liquid pickling and rusting agent for stainless steel, it is used to degrease and clean up any traces of ferrous pollution on stainless steel surfaces.
It is formulated without hydrofluoric acid, in order to avoid the danger due to the toxicity of the aforementioned acid. It is an important treatment as, in addition to removing the processing grease, it cleanses and improves the aesthetic appearance of the surfaces, because it tends to enhance the pre-existing polishing. It has the advantage, unlike the traditional pickling baths for stainless steel, of not torching the pieces, regardless of the temperature and time they stay in the bath. If the conditions of use are respected, its duration is very long, commensurable in years.

Usage
Use iron tanks lined with PVC, or if small in polyethylene, polypropylene, etc. Dilute FIPROSTEEL 764 1: 1 with water by volume.
Immerse the pieces in the solution thus prepared at room temperature.
The immersion time can vary from a few minutes to over 1 or 2 hours, depending on the type of steel, its thickness, the type of oxide and the temperature.
During the cold season, if necessary, the solution can be heated, with rubber coils and steam passage, or Teflon-coated resistors, heat max. 30 °.
