FIPRO SG 598 is an alkaline liquid degreaser for spray and electrolytic applications for cleaning steel and galvanized steel.
Usage and Applications
FIPRO SG 598 must be used in aqueous solution, by spray or electrolytically, under the following conditions:
Temperature: 60 ÷ 80 ° C
Contact time: 1 ÷ 3 '
Bath formation: 20 ÷ 50 g / l

Control of bathing
Take 10 ml of bath
Pour them into a flask / beaker
Add 3-5 drops of phenolphthalein indicator
Titrate with 0.1 N sulfuric acid until it changes from purple to colorless.
The ml of acid consumed for the color change represent the bath score that for a preparation at
concentration of 10 g / l is about 5.0.

Alimentation
For each point consumed, add 2 kg of FIPRO SG 598 for every 1000 l of bath.
Storage
Tanks: Common steel and DIN EN 10025, special steels No. 1.4541 and No. 1.4571
Keep the degreasing solution free from pollutants: skim and remove any impurities by overflowing
such as oil or dirt floating on the surface of the bath. Before refilling the tank, do so
the elimination of any deposits that had formed on the bottom of the same.
For the transport, storage, handling and discharge of wastewater, follow the indications and laws in force.
Avoid improper handling of the packages that can cause product spillage.
Protect from frost, store away from heat sources and direct sunlight, keep the containers well
closed.
Any formation of a black precipitate on the bottom of the product containers does not affect performance
degreasers of the product itself.
