Technical specifications
FIPRO SG 578 is a solvent with very high degreasing power and high evaporation speed, it leaves artefacts perfectly degreased and free of oily residues on the surface. It can be used for cleaning metal surfaces, for graphics and for paint production, but also in the textile industry, engineering, motoring in general and in the transport sector. For use in contact with resins, rubbers and paints, it is advisable to carry out preliminary tests to check the compatibility of the product with the material to be treated, soaking a sample of the material itself in FIPRO SG 578 for a few hours.
In the mechanical sector it is used for degreasing metal surfaces, either inter-operational or before painting or other treatments. It is designed for all cleaning operations, by wiping or immersion, where the use of pure chlorinated solvents is inadvisable. FIPRO SG 578 removes contamination such as oil, dust, grease, etc.
Usage and Applications
Impression use:

Simply dip the parts to be cleaned into the product, preferably with gentle agitation, especially in the presence of solid particles and/or adhering swarf.
. The product should be used at room temperature. The speed at which the workpieces dry depends on the operating temperature: when working in cold environments, it is convenient to let the workpieces drip thoroughly after extraction, and leave them exposed in a ventilated environment for at least ten minutes to allow them to dry completely. The product can, very conveniently, be used in the presence of ultrasound as a degreasing accelerant. This is especially useful when surfaces are soiled with adhering solid residues.
Mop-up/brush application:
The product is particularly suitable for rag or brush application. In this case, the mechanical rubbing action, combined with the product's emollient and solvent power and its penetration capacity (even where tolerances are extremely tight) allows for perfect and fast cleaning of the pieces being treated.

Tanks and Storage
All parts in contact with FIPRO SG 596 can be made of chrome nickel steel, AISI 321 or chrome nickel molybdenum, AISI 316Ti. For transport, storage, handling and discharge of wastewater, follow the instructions and laws in force. For further information on the product please refer to the Safety Data Sheet. Store the product in its original, sealed packaging, in a cool place and protected from frost and direct sunlight.
