FIPRO SG 573 is a completely volatile solvent that has a barely perceptible odor that does not develop over time, even when exposed to heat and light, unlike other conventional hydrocarbon solvents.
This feature makes it ideal for uses where a pleasant smell is essential such as household products, for cleaning electronic components and metal surfaces, liquid for barbecues, products for cosmetics, for graphics and for the production of odorless paints, but also in the textile, engineering, motor industry in general, in the transport sector. It has a low solvent power towards most resins, plastics and rubbers, allowing safe use even in the presence of various kinds of gaskets.
However, given the great variety of synthetic materials available on the market, it is advisable to carry out a preliminary compatibility test, by immersing a sample of the material in FIPRO SG 573, lasting a few hours.
In the mechanical sector it is used for degreasing metal surfaces, interoperable or before painting or other treatments. It has been designed for all cleaning operations, by rag or immersion, where the use of pure chlorinated solvents is not recommended.
FIPRO SG 573 removes contamination consisting of oils, dusts, greases, etc.
Usage and Applications
Immersion use:
Simply immerse the pieces to be cleaned in the product, preferably with slight agitation, especially in the presence of solid particles and / or adhering chips.
The drying speed of the pieces depends on the operating temperature: working in cold environments, it is convenient to let the pieces drip accurately after extraction, and leave them exposed in a ventilated environment for at least fifteen minutes, to allow complete drying.
The product can - very conveniently - be used in the presence of ultrasounds as degreasing accelerators. This is especially useful if the surfaces are soiled with solid adhering residues.
Use by rag / brush:
The product is particularly suitable for application by cloth or brush. In this case, the mechanical rubbing action, combined with the emollient and solvent power of the product and its penetration capacity (even where tolerances are extremely small) allows perfect and quick cleaning of the pieces subjected to treatment.

Tanks and Storage
We recommend metal tubs: for example iron or steel are perfectly suitable. The fittings can be in brass. For implant materials in contact with the product, we do not recommend the use of rubbers and paints which, in the long run, could be damaged or swollen.
Any heating elements can be in stainless steel (or, with a lesser guarantee of duration over time, in copper). As far as heating is concerned, absolutely avoid the use of immersed electric resistances, due to the danger of overheating and malfunctions which could cause a fire.
