FIPRO DEFOAM 155 is an antifoam in water emulsion, silicone free and, given the composition of the raw materials it can be suitable for foam suppression in all those industrial processes where water in combination with foaming substances generates such a volume of foam that it impedes the regular production process.
FIPRO DEFOAM 155 performs an action both at surface level by eliminating the presence of foaming bubbles and inside the mass by de-aerating and deflating the system. In addition to good speed in breaking down the foam formed, the product has a high durability, characteristics achieved through state-of-the-art emulsification techniques.

Usage and Applications
The product has been successfully used in the production of printing inks and pastes; in the production of chemical auxiliaries; in water purification, even in biological plants where silicone cannot be used; in paint booths and in many other situations where it is necessary to use an antifoam made of non-silicone raw materials.
The dosage varies depending on the application situation. In water purification, 1 part defoamer per 10,000 parts of liquid to be treated may be sufficient. If it is used as a formulation additive, it is dosed at a rate of 0.05% to 0.5% by weight of the formula. The best dosage is, however, obtained following preliminary tests.

Storage
The storage temperature should preferably be between 5 and 35 °C. The product fears frost. The product is stable for 6 months from the date of packaging.
