The process
In the spray booth spraying process, paint particles that do not go onto the workpiece form the so-called "over spray", which is collected in a recirculating aqueous solution, the water film. In these processes, it is crucial to prevent it from adhering to the booth walls and progressively clogging the recirculating water system.
Denaturation treatment therefore uses chemicals to inert the paint and coagulate it into small flakes that are then removed from the water by special mechanical devices.
The main chemicals in the denaturation and coagulation treatment are primary coagulants and polyelectrolytes, also called flocculants.
Fiprokim products
Fiprokim offers a wide range of products for the clarification and purification of industrial water, both waste and process water. The line, called Waterfip, is divided into two groups, coagulants and flocculants, for use in chemical-physical or dynamic purification plants and for treating water in paint booths containing dispersed paint or suspended particulates.
