The process
In the spray painting process in booths, the paint particles that do not go on the artifact constitute the so-called "over spray" which is collected in an aqueous recirculation solution, the veil of water. In these processes, it is essential to avoid that it adheres to the walls of the cabin and progressively obstructs the water recirculation system.
For the denaturation treatment, therefore, chemical products are used that inertize the paint and coagulate it into small flakes which are then removed from the water by means of special mechanical devices.
The main chemicals of the denaturation and coagulation treatment are primary coagulants and polyelectrolytes, also called flocculants.
Fiprokim products
Fiprokim offers a wide range of products for the clarification and purification of industrial water, both waste and process. The line, called Waterfip, is divided into two groups, coagulants and flocculants, to be used in chemical-physical or dynamic purification plants and for water treatment in painting booths, containing dispersed paints or suspended particulates.
